Top Boot Brands of the 2024-2025 Boot Test
Our best-performing boot brands this year have shared top honors for several years running. They are: Lange, Tecnica, Rossignol, Nordica, Salomon and Head. These brands' submitted models scored highly enough that each brand maintained a gold medal level average.
Does this matter to the ski boot buying consumer? Sure. At least it should. The best brands simply have more models that appeal to more people, period, which means that the odds of a fit match in a boot that skis well are simply higher there. Does that mean that a skier shouldn’t try on boots from other brands? Of course not—there are more great boots (from every brand we test) out there now than ever before. That said, a skier would be remiss in his or her new boot search not to have these brands on their short list for try-on.
