A mountainscape chaser, nature ambassador, and environmental educator, Holzer holds PSIA Alpine Level III, Children’s Specialist Level II, Freestyle Specialist Level I, Telemark Level I, and Adaptive Level I certifications, and has been teaching skiing for 25 years. She learned to ski at Jiminy Peak in the Taconic Mountains, later taught part-time in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Colorado Rockies, Cascade Range, Chugach Mountains, and now calls Schweitzer in the Selkirks home. Year-round, she can be found exploring the outdoors, viewing the world through the lens of an athlete, a biologist, and often both at once.
