It will give you greater comfort, more toe room, and in most cases, reduce pressure on your inside ankles (a frequent skier problem). You will also have greater edge control and a much more stable and centered stance on your skis. At this point your boots are ready for fine-tuning for your personal needs, by either stretching or grinding the outer shell, modifying the liner or softening or stiffening the flex. We’re really good at that too. At this stage we can go the next step for stance and alignment. We can grind your boot soles to the desired cant and then add lifters. ABB is an organization of select independent international ski and snowboard shops specializing in custom boot fitting. "America's Best Bootfitters membership is only granted to shops whose boot fittingand customization work has demonstrated a high level of expertise, consistency, and has been proven to meet rigorous standards over the years", says ABB executive director Steve Cohen.
